Samurai Japanese [19]

by Ethan on February 19th, 2011

In which Adam and Ethan go to a sushi place and do not order sushi.

Samurai Japanese was the place Adam and I went to the first time we had lunch, one year ago today. (The Never-Repeat Game was reset back ion September, so this doesn’t count as a loss for Adam). I recall the conversation was a bit forced that day, we were still getting to know one another. And I find one-on-one conversation can be awkward and forced. It was that day. Luckily that’s not a problem now.

This was my first time back in a while and the lunch specials were new to both of us. We both noticed the Bento Boxes: main dish, fried rice, fried dumplings, california roll, plus a soup or salad. We both ordered Chicken Teriyaki and I had Miso Soup while Adam had a salad. Adam was really hoping for an Angry Birds bento box, but the ones we received were traditional. And delicious! Service was attentive and fast. I thought the wasabi was a little too mild, but that’s a very small complaint. We enjoy Samurai… it’s good food, well appointed, and close by.
